Blues and Minor Pentatonic Scale Licks in Open E

This lesson has been on Youtube for a while but I finally got the notation done today...its just on taking your "Home position" Blues and Minor Pentatonic Scales and moving them into the open position...I'll probably have some more lessons like this just to build some "open position vocabulary".

Some nice open E position licks there!

I think the open position often gets neglected, as players usually make use of the fretted caged positions further up.

Also, these type of open E licks in conjunction with the E shuffle rhythm part in the previous lesson can sound great on an acoustic as solo blues, where you play a bit of the shuffle rhythm, then play some licks like the ones here.

Only thing is that it might be difficult to do full bends on an acoustic.
